RAFIA BABAR

Immigrants bring different viewpoints, traditions, and cultures that make society more interesting. It's important to hear what they have to say.

My name is Rafia, I am a law school graduate. I am passionate about volunteering in my community and have done so in multiple ways. I’ve been an advocate for youth through the justice system and school system. I’ve started the first Bangladeshi student club at the University of Calgary. Currently, I am part of my school's Pro Bono Group where I offer free legal advice to the community. I love helping others and hope to continue my passion for philanthropy and volunteerism.
