FATEMA AZIM

Fatema Azim has been working at Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association CIWA for the past 11 years and has a passion for serving the immigrant population in Calgary. She has worked at CIWA as a Settlement Counsellor for more than five years and presently working as a Career Counsellor/Job Coach of the Retail Training Program for the past six years. 

In her extensive 11 years of community services, Fatema served many clients with their various needs and connected them to community resources and assisted to find meaningful employment for immigrant women to empower them. 

Fatema has a Masters Degree in Sociology from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, She has also completed a Certification in Human Resources Management from Mount Royal University, Calgary, Alberta. She likes to travel, do gardening, spend time with her family, and have a knack for interior decorating/home staging in her spare time.
